Diving into the Marine Ecosystem —
A Successful Overnight Independent Living Camp at the Pingtung National Museum of Marine Biology & Aquarium!

2025年11月29日至11月30日這兩天，我們和智青們一起把「學習」搬進大自然，把「自立生活」放進真實場景裡，一路從動物生態、海洋世界到地方文化，全都玩、都看、都體驗！

From November 29 to 30, 2025, we brought ‘learning’ into nature and placed ‘independent living’ into real-life scenarios. From animal ecology and the marine world to local culture, we explored, observed, and experienced it all!

第一站：墾丁鹿ㄦ島水豚生態園區
大家和水豚、梅花鹿、迷你羊近距離互動，還親手餵食可愛動物們～從一開始的小害羞，到後來大家大膽伸手餵食、自拍，笑聲根本停不下來！

First Stop: Kenting Lu Er Island Capybara Ecology Park
Everyone interacted up close with capybaras, sika deer, and mini sheep, even feeding these adorable animals by hand. From being a little shy at first to confidently reaching out to feed them—and taking countless selfies—our laughter never stopped!

夜宿海生館探險時間！
我們參加夜宿活動，一起深入水族箱後場，了解不為人知的「展示幕後」世界，聽工作人員分享海洋生物的照護與習性。夜晚的模擬海洋生態之旅，更讓大家認識不同生物在夜間的秘密行為～超酷！

Overnight Adventure at the Aquarium!
We joined the overnight program and explored the behind-the-scenes areas of the aquarium, discovering the hidden world beyond the exhibits and listening to staff share how they care for marine animals and understand their behaviors. The nighttime simulated marine ecology tour let everyone learn about the secret activities of different creatures after dark—so cool!

自己來，才是真本事！
睡覺前，每位智青都要自己鋪睡墊、整理寢具、收納用品。或許有點手忙腳亂，但每一次嘗試，就是一次小小的成長！

Do It Yourself — That’s Real Ability!
Before bedtime, each participant had to set up their own sleeping mat, organize their bedding, and tidy up their belongings. It may have been a bit chaotic, but every attempt was a small step toward growth!

第二天：走進潮間帶
跟著老師們一起尋找潮間帶的可愛生物，並學習生態保育的重要性。當大家發現海星、寄居蟹時的驚呼，真的是世界上最快樂的聲音！

Day 2: Into the Intertidal Zone
Together with our instructors, we searched for adorable intertidal creatures and learned about the importance of ecological conservation. The excited exclamations when everyone discovered sea stars and hermit crabs were truly the happiest sounds in the world!

最後：漫步潮州文化園區
探索日式建築、了解潮州的歷史與地方信仰，還走入市區「自主行動」，自由挑選自己想吃的點心～用小小的購物決策，練習做出屬於自己的選擇！

Final Stop: Strolling Through the Chaozhou Cultural Park
We explored Japanese-style architecture, learned about Chaozhou’s history and local beliefs, and even went on a self-guided activity in the town center to choose our own snacks. Through these small shopping decisions, everyone practiced making choices for themselves!

兩天一夜的營隊，不只是旅行，是一趟充滿探索、學習、自我管理與同伴支持的旅程。在海洋、在土地、在文化之間，我們一起冒險、一起動手做、一起變得更勇敢

感謝所有參與的夥伴、支持的老師與協助的場域，也謝謝每一位智青，帶著真誠、熱情與好奇心出發，我們看見你們一次又一次的突破，而這份成長，比任何紀念品都更珍貴

A two-day, one-night camp is more than just a trip. It’s a journey filled with exploration, learning, self-management, and mutual support. Surrounded by the ocean, the land, and local culture, we adventured together, created together, and grew braver together.

We’re grateful to every participant, every supportive teacher, and every venue that helped make this possible. And to each young adult with intellectual disabilities who joined us—thank you for bringing your sincerity, passion, and curiosity. We witnessed your breakthroughs again and again, and this growth is more precious than any souvenir.
