各大學所推動的「大學社會責任實踐計畫」(University Social Responsibility Project，以下簡稱USR計畫)，其在落實在地社會實踐方面，旨在解決地方複雜的實務現場問題，為達此目的，大學是無法僅憑一己之力提出全方位解決策略，因此倡議跨部門、跨社群和跨組織的呼聲便不絕於耳。相對前幾期USR計畫的推動，重點大多放在各大學之間的水平協作，到了第四期，更擴展至強調大學與企業間的異業協作，以及大學與高中間的垂直協作。期待透過更為多元與創新的跨域協作，共同回應社會問題。然在運作這樣的跨域協作時，無可避免會面臨各種實務挑戰，包括不同背景參與者要如何合作，如何確保互信和永續經營，以及如何建立協作溝通機制，俾益參與者間進行經驗交流。本SIG活動主要將重點放在大學與企業，及大學與高中之跨域協作的探討。
“In 2015, the United Nations proposed the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), categorized into three dimensions: economic, social, and environmental. This topic has become a universal language for promoting global sustainable development. This event aligns with the Phase IV USR (University Social Responsibility) initiative proposed by Ministry of Education (Taiwan), encouraging students to engage with sustainability issues and develop sustainable action strategies by integrating their expertise and creative ideas. Faculty and students are invited to form SDGs Creative Action Teams to share their project proposals and outcomes.”
